Ingredients

  • 3 lb Chuck Roast
  • 3/4 Cup Beef broth
  • 1 TBSP Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 TBSP Franks Red Hot Sauce
  • 4 oz Canned Green Chilis
  • 1 1/2 TBSP Minced Garlic
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 Small Onion chopped

Instructions

  1. Place the Franks Red Hot sauce and beef broth in the slow cooker and turn it on to preheat it while you prepare the chuck roast.

  2. Put all of your seasonings in a small bowl and set aside. Rub the olive oil on both sides of the chuck roast. Next, rub the seasonings all over the roast.

  3. Place your seasoned chuck roast in the crock pot. Put the minced garlic, chopped onion and green chilis on top of the chuck roast.

  4. Turn your slow cooker on high and cook for 5 hours.

  5. Shred the chuck roast and place it back into the juice to serve.

Recipe Notes

*If there is too much juice, you can always thicken it by placing everything in a sauce pan and simmer for as long as you need to.
