Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Extra Lean Ground Turkey
  • 15 1/2 oz Red Beans drain and rinse
  • 15 1/2 oz Pinto Beans drain and rinse
  • 1 small Onion diced
  • 1 medium Green Pepper diced
  • 28 oz Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies
  • 5.5 oz Tomato Paste
  • 2 to 3 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 1/4 Cup Franks Red Hot Sauce
  • 1 TBSP Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 2 Bay Leaves

Instructions

  1. Brown your extra lean ground turkey. Drain the oil and place the cooked ground turkey in your stock pot. 

  2. Dice your green pepper and onion and place in the pot.

  3. Add the beans, tomatoes, tomato paste, chicken broth, Franks Red Hot and seasonings to the pot and stir. 

  4. Bring your spicy turkey chili to a boil and then lower the heat to low and cover with a lid. Simmer for about 2 hours, or until your onions and green peppers are tender.
