It’s 4:45pm and you haven’t the foggiest idea what you are going to make for dinner. You open the fridge and the only thing jumping out at you are leftovers. You don’t want to serve the same thing as the night before, but defrosting something would take too long as well. Ordering out is an option, but you want to serve low calorie and low fat foods to your family…ordering out doesn’t usually get you that. I find myself in those shoes quite a bit, and when that happens, I usually order out. That is, until I got this great cookbook!

Enjoy! A must try recipe is the Sweet and Sour Chicken. My whole family, including my 4 year old and 1 year old, loved that dish. Any parent knows how golden it is to get a recipe that the adults AND kids both love! That recipe will be going on my rotating list of favorites to make. If you like using your slow cooker, then you will definitely want to pick up this cookbook. Simply throw all the ingredients in the slow cooker in the morning and have dinner ready when you want it! So at 4:45pm you can cook a recipe out of this cookbook that is for SLOW COOKERS???? What time do you eat dinner, midnight?

The point of a slow cooker is that you put the food in it in the morning and let it cook all day. Therefore you would not have the issue of it being 4:45 and not having dinner ready. THAT is the point of getting the cookbook and using the slow cooker.
