I swear. My daughter may look all sweet and whatnot, but that child…I’m telling you, if I would have had her first…it would have been a LOOOOOONG time before I would have considered having a second child.
She is 3 and while I don’t really think the 2’s were all that bad, the 3’s…they should be called the “horrifying three’s”. Zachary threw tantrums for like two weeks and then he was done with them. Bella…she throws herself down on the ground no matter WHERE she is and throws the mother of all tantrums. What do I do? I stand there and watch her for a second and then calmly walk over, pick her up and stick her in the cart and tell her “that is not a choice at the moment. You will sit here until you calm down. It can take the whole shopping trip or it can take 2 mins. THAT is your choice”. I almost scare myself with my calmness. But it works.
Though I have to admit, this new singing thing she is doing is absolutely hilarious! We were in Hobby Lobby today and the register line was getting long so the cashier got on the PA system and said “Charlene to your register, Charlene to your register please”. Without missing a beat, Bella begins singing as loud as she can “Charlene…Charlene…Charlene to your register now please”.
I was dying laughing. The customers were laughing and when Charlene came up front, Bella sang louder and louder for her. It was great!
So the moral of the story…find things to laugh at each day ’cause if you don’t…your kids are going to send you right to the white padded room.

My children are 6 years apart but I always say if I had my baby first I would of never had another one. Not that he's bad, he's just very ornery.
