Thanksgiving is coming…it’s one of my most favorite times of the year…especially if it’s an even year (like this year)!! On the even years my husbands entire side of the family gets together (around 75-80 of us) and we spend Thanksgiving together. Our kids have a blast playing with their cousins…it’s just an all around good time. We have all of the Thanksgiving staples, including those yummy desserts…pumpkin pie, banana cream pie, chocolate pie…I’m drooling just thinking about it. Once the desserts come out, so does the coffee.
I can hardly wait to share the yummy flavored coffees with my family that I am about to tell you about. Thanks to Dunkin’ Donuts, I was able to try out three of their yummy holiday flavored coffees…Pumpkin Spice (my husbands favorite), Vanilla Nut (smells so yummy), and Mocha Mint (another really great flavor). This Thanksgiving, if you’re sitting there unsure of what to bring to your holiday get together, grab a bag or two of one of the Dunkin’ Donuts flavored coffee’s! Their rich flavor is sure to be a big hit with your family and friends!
What are you planning to do for the holiday’s? If you’re married, how do you split the holidays between the two families? One tip I have, and have lived by for the past 11 years that I have been with my husband is, try to keep things the same each year. For example, I ALWAYS spend the even years with my husbands side of the family. On the odd years, we see my parents. May not always make everyone happy, but it works!
Also, if you are going to take a gift to the person hosting the holiday, think outside of the bottles of wine or poinsettias. One year I think my inlaws had like 6 poinsettias…the huge ones you get at Costco. It was kind of funny! Some ideas:
- Dunkin’ Donuts coffee 😉
- Peppermint bark (especially if you are coming to my house and want to bring me something…I love peppermint bark)
- Candle
- Holiday Music
If you have any other ideas…leave me a comment. I’d love to know what you take your hosts.

Ahhh the Mocha Mint sounds amazing, I bet it's really good. I love the idea of even and odd months visiting families…and peppermint bark yum!
