For all you Twihards, Bobby Long’s name probably sounds familiar since he is best known for writing the song “Let Me Sign” that Robert Pattinson sang in the movie Twilight
Gosh doesn’t he look sound delicious?!?
OK. Back to Bobby Long and A Winter Tale. It was interesting to find out that he didn’t even start to play the guitar until he was 17 years old! But once he started, he’s been on a role creating such memorable songs filled with “hauntingly” poetic lyrics. In fact, his music has been liked so much that in 2009, he played 160 shows in seven months…in seven countries!
I really, really like this album. In fact, it’s currently in the CD player in my car. I think what I like most about the album, and here’s where I am going to sound like an American Idol judge, is the fact that you can hear all the passion and emotion when he sings. He throws everything he has into every song and it just gives you little tingles down your back. I like that in a artist. He doesn’t sound like every other artist out there. There’s a rawness about him that is not only pleasing to listen to, but incredible sexy as well.
