A little over a year ago, you may remember when I got the chance to participate in the Pampers Little Miracle Mission! Basically I was given a $50 American Express gift card where I was told to come up with the best way to spend that money on a little miracle in my community. I decided to spend it on a mom that was expecting her 3rd child who expressed her need to make her own baby food. Being that that was one of my goals when I had young children, that I did not end up doing, I knew I had to make that dream come true for her. So I spent the $50 American Express gift card on the Ninja Master Prep Blender and a set of ice cube trays to freeze the pureed food in.
And yes…I did get her a little something to enjoy AFTER the baby was born!!
Today I got a little note from my friend with a picture of her baby thanking me for the baby food:
I am so glad I was able to help her fulfill her dream of making her own baby food! Making my own baby food is something I really wish I would have done when my kids were younger. Actually, there are many things that I would have done differently with them now. However, like many things in life, the things we chose to do with our kids is something that we can’t change. We can just change things going forward.
Be sure to check out Pampers Little Miracle on Facebook and “Like” their page!
