**Here is an update to this camera. Please read this before you purchase the Samsung WB150F camera point and shoot camera.**
We have a pretty great SLR camera that I love to use, but it’s not always convenient to take with me on those little trips here and there or when I need a camera for something in the kids classroom, etc. So I mentioned to my husband awhile back that I would love to have a new point and shoot camera that I could just toss in my purse and take with me. But I had a few “must haves” for the camera:
- A good optical zoom so I could zoom in on things far away
- High pixel count so I get nice, crisp pictures
- It had to be small
I never expected, in a million years, that my husband would be getting me a camera for Christmas! To say I was shocked to open it would be an understatement. He got me the Samsung WB150F point and shoot, smart camera. This nifty little camera is great! I’ve only been using it for a day and a half, but I love it! Here are some of the amazing stats about this camera that make it so great:
- 14 Megapixel’s
- 18x Optical Zoom
- You can send pictures via wifi to your email, Facebook or computer
- Photo editing right on the camera!
- Full manual control settings
The Samsung WB150F camera takes beautiful pictures! I really have no complaints. It took a bit for the camera to find my wifi network, but I was also not putting the password in correctly, so it’s not the camera’s fault! Very user friendly!
Right now there are some really good deals to be found online. You can purchase the camera with a case (which I recommend), memory card and extra battery OR you can purchase just the camera. All for less that $150!
**I did not receive any compensation for this post. I just wanted to share a great little camera I got for Christmas!

Wow!! That camera sounds awesome!! I have a nice DSLR Nikon, but it’s so big that I hate having to carrying it around. I have enough to carry with 2 small children, so most f the time my nice camera gets left at home. I, too, have been wanting something small that I can toss in my purse and have with me at all times. It never fails that I always miss out on good photo opportunity when I leave my camera at home. Think I will have to tell hubby about this little Samsung…my birthday is coming up in March. 🙂
