Yesterday I took some chicken out of the freezer thinking it was chicken breasts, only it was a massive package of chicken tenderloins. We only had a limited amount of time to make dinner before we needed to be at my sons basketball game so rather than cook the chicken, I whipped up a marinade and decided to marinate them overnight to be grilled today. And since it was about 40ish today…I had Mr. DGoddess grill them outside!
Quick and Easy Teriyaki Marinade
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Soy Sauce
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
- 3 TBS Olive Oil
- 3 TBS White Vinegar
- 1 tsp ground Ginger
- 3 tsp Onion Powder
- 2 tsp Garlic Powder
Directions:
- Mix all of the liquid ingredients first.
- Add the ginger, onion powder and garlic powder. Mix well.
- Add in the sugar and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
Once you have the marinade mixed up, add the meat of your choice and marinate for at least 30 minutes…though I marinated overnight and the chicken was DELICIOUS!!
(not the greatest picture, but my family was devouring the chicken…look at those yummy grill lines! So excited that winter is almost gone and we can start grilling again!)
