Listing it with Leah Dream Jobs

I picked up this really neat book at Target where you can list anything and everything.  Now I’m not sure if you are like me, but I love to make lists.  Part of me wonders if I just like the paper I make lists on, which is entirely possible, but any rate…I make a lot of lists about a lot of things. This weeks list is about dream jobs.  I had fun making this list.  There have been so many things I’ve wanted to do for a job…

Dream Jobs

• Author…I know I am an author when it comes to this blog and what I publish online, but I have always, since I was a little girl, dreamed about writing a book and having it published and have people purchase it.
• Psychologist…way back when I was a senior in high school thinking about what I wanted to major in, I thought about psychology.  I am a good listener and I like helping people with their problems.
• Preschool Teacher…while I didn’t go to school to be a psychologist, I did get my teaching certificate.  However, I was pregnant with Zachary when I graduated and there were absolutely zero jobs available.  If I were ever to get back into teaching, I’d want to teach preschool.
• Swim Coach…I coached swimming for a couple summers after I had Zachary and it was awesome.  I also coached a middle school swim team.  I’d like to get back into coaching some day.
• Weather Person…I love everything to do with weather.  I took a class in college and it was one of my most favorite classes I took.  And let’s face it…a weather person is the only job available that you can be wrong 100% of the time and still get paid!
• Journalist…this seems like this would be a great job.  One of my favorite James Patterson series are the Women’s Murder Club.  But then I think about the possibility of being sent into a war zone, and then I’m not as interested in the job!
• Book Editor…I’d love to have authors send me their manuscripts to read, edit and determine if they are good enough to be published.  I just don’t know how to go about having a job like that.
