I love hosting events at my house. Which is kind of funny considering when Dan and I got together, I could not cook to save my life. Let’s put it this way…I literally burned the outside of chicken, but the inside was raw. That takes talent folks! But as the years went by, I slowly started to get better. I now host parties and holidays at my house for our family and I make some really great food! Especially meatballs! Everyone loves this appetizer!
How to Make Easy Meatballs
One of my absolute favorite things to make and take to potluck’s are meatballs. They are quick and easy, but so good and everyone always seems to like them. Especially when I take them to our Euchre get together’s! This particular recipe is a little different than my normal recipe, but still the best meatballs ever!

Today we had my parents, brother and his kids over for dinner. My dad’s birthday is later this week so we got together this evening to celebrate. I decided to make the meatball recipe above, only I doubled it. Throw everything in the slow cooker and four hours later, you have a delicious meal!! If you are lucky to live near an Ikea, you could always buy the Ikea meatballs for this recipe too. Or..if you are ambitious (I am not), you can also make homemade meatballs. The choice is yours!
For this meal, I decided to serve the meatballs over rice with my yummy Chinese coleslaw, green beans and pineapple. It was a HUGE hit and I think this is my favorite meatball recipe so far!! You have to try it. The only thing I may change is to add a little bit extra chili sauce. I do that with my other recipe and it cuts a little of the sweetness out. But that is totally a personal preference. You can’t go wrong either way!
