I absolutely adore my cat Roxie. She barks like a dog sometimes, follows me all over the house and she insists on stepping into the shower from time to time…while it’s on! She does funny things all the time, but she is also one of those cats with an attitude. If she doesn’t want you to pet her at a particular time, she will smack your hand away or start flicking her tail like crazy!

Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Cat Did What? is a good read. As I sit here and read the book, it seems like each and every story reminds me of something Roxie does or has done. For instance, there is a story about a cat and how she likes one member of the family or the other. We have that going on in our house. Bella is Roxie’s number one fan, however Roxie doesn’t feel the same way. Bella will try to hold her and sit with her and usually Roxie will tolerate it for about 1 minute before she jumps off her lap and runs from the room.
From the back of the book:
What has that cat done now? You’ll recognize your own cat in this entertaining collection of stories about affectionate cats, aloof cats, intuitive cats, wacky cats, and even bad, bad cats!
With a special emphasis on the benefits and joys of adopting abandoned and rescue cats, these loving stories will amaze you and put a smile on your face. Most of them will make you laugh out loud, some will make you tear up a little, and others will have you nodding your head in recognition, as you see your own cat in a new light.
Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Cat Did What? will make a great gift this holiday season for the cat lover in your life!
