Christmas is RIGHT around the corner. It’s crazy to me. I feel like I’ve lost the last two months. No joke. My kids have been in school since the day after Labor Day, but it feels like yesterday that they started. How does that happen? So as you can imagine, I am scrabbling to come up with ideas to get the kids and my husband for Christmas. My kids are at that stage where they still like toys, but they don’t have time for them and they would much rather have electronics. My husband…well…he’s really hard to shop for. I feel like I get him a watch every holiday because he collects watches. But man, how many watches does a person need???

Now LG OLED TV at Best Buy is definitely one thing I could get my husband that he would absolutely go crazy for. We actually saw one at the store and the picture was beyond awesome. I had never seen a picture so crisp and clear.
Your first kiss. A baby’s first steps. The majesty of a desert sunset. Some things in life defy all explanation and must be experienced to be believed. Such is the case with LG’s latest display technology. With deeper and richer colors, stunning contrast and ingeniously curved screens, it is unlike any technology you’ve ever seen, and it delivers a picture that exceeds your wildest imagination.
What is the LG OLED TV?
Well, for starters, it is VERY thin. At it’s thinnest point, it’s only 0.17″ thick. It has infinite contrast which means the whites are brighter than you’ve ever seen and the blacks are the darkest, that seem to just melt away and give you a greater sense of realism and depth.
LG 4 Color Pixel technology is truly unique by adding a white sub-pixel to three colors (red, blue and green). By adding this white sub-pixel, it enhances the color range and accuracy. I mean, really…look at that picture with the flowers. Can you imagine watching your favorite shows on a TV like that?!?
As if everything I’ve already told you wasn’t awesome enough, the LG OLED TV also uses the new webOS platform. This platform help to organize your television viewing by keeping track of what you’ve watched, what is on live TV, and what you might want to watch <—um…awesome!
So I am sure you can see why I’m thinking this would be the perfect gift for my husband. Shoot…who am I kidding…it’s the perfect gift for ME! I’m the one that will be watching it most! Both my husband and I are the type of people that we just love all the hot new technology that gets introduced.
