Winter is almost over…at least that is what I am telling myself each time I look outside, see the sun shining and notice that daylight is lasting longer. When you live in Michigan where the winters can be brutal (not as bad as the East Coast…my gosh they’ve been hit), by March you start to search out signs that spring is coming. I saw five robins the other day! <–that’s a HUGE sign! Another sign that spring is on the way is the start of lacrosse season.

His first practice starts tonight. Which is fine, except there is still snow on the ground. So they will be practicing in a school parking lot in sneakers instead of cleats. Thankfully for Zack, he just got a great new pair of shoes…the Reebok ZigTech Big N’ Fast EX shoes!
About the Shoes
The Reebok ZigTech Big N’ Fast EX shoes have a “Zig technology” that uses lightweight foam that forms the neat zig zag shape, but besides being neat looking, it also provides great support that absorbs force. This makes the shoes perfect for lacrosse practice! Zack will already be weighed down with shoulder pads, elbow pads and a helmet!
For Zack, it was a no brainer…he had to have the red shoes. His colors for lacrosse are red, white and navy blue. He especially likes how they look with the black on the sides. I think he may have said they were “pretty sick”! From a mom point of view, I like that they look “sick” so my son will wear them, but most importantly, I like that they are lightweight, comfortable, and good quality!
You can find the Reebok ZigTech Big N’ Fast EX shoes at Finish Line stores near you! However, be sure to call first to make sure they have the shoes in stock. All of the stores around me were supposed to have them, but they didn’t. But a store near where my husband was working did have them so the kids and I drove (2 hours) to where he was at, swam in the hotel pool, had dinner and then went shopping for the shoes. Now we have shopped at Finish Line stores in the past and always had a great experience. At this particular store, it was less than stellar. I told the lady what we were looking for and the size (Youth 3.5). She looked at me and said “yeah…we don’t have any 3.5’s in any shoe in this store”. The wall above the youth shoes says that it starts at 3.5…I personally believe she didn’t want to be bothered to go in the back, but I thanked her for her help and went home to order them online. Not only did I get free shipping, but they were on my doorstep in 4 days!
