The Tooth Fairy is so exciting to kids! They can’t wait to lose a tooth so they can see what the Tooth Fairy brings them! I will admit, as a parent, there is nothing grosser than watching my kid wiggle the heck out of their tooth and then come running at me excitedly with a tooth in their hand and blood dripping from their mouth. It got to the point that they realized how grossed out I got so they would wait until my husband went out of town before they went to town on that tooth! I’m not kidding. Every single time he left for out of town, a tooth came out! At one point my son had all four front teeth missing. He literally had a hole in his mouth!

No matter how gross it is to watch them rip a tooth out, it is pretty fun to see them get excited for the Tooth Fairy. There are a lot of fun things we can do as parents to make this time even more exciting for our kids. When my daughter lost her first tooth, I picked up the Tooth Fairy movie with Dwayne Johnson to give her. She was VERY excited to get that movie! She lost her tooth on a Friday and we watched it the very next Saturday for family movie night!
Fun and EASY Tooth Fairy Ideas
If there is one thing every single parent should do, and I promise you will thank me after, is pick up a Tooth Fairy pouch or pillow. I’m serious! It makes getting the tooth so much easier. We use one! With this pillow you will no longer have to worry about waking your kid up when you try to retrieve the tooth! Unless you like having to make up a bunch of lies as to why you’re in the room…there’s always that option! We always told our kids to leave the pillow on their dresser. Easy peasy!
Another fun idea is giving them special Tooth Fairy coins. You can spray the coins with a little hairspray and sprinkle glitter on them. However, if you are like me and absolutely hate glitter, you can purchase the money…comes in a protective sleeve. It would make a great addition to their scrapbook! Check it out:
No matter how you choose to handle this fun time, your kids will love it! Just always remember to have the Tooth Fairy take the tooth! You will have lots of questions in the morning if the kids wake up with their tooth AND money!!

Great ideas! And I totally forgot about the Tooth Fairy movie. I’ll have to find it somewhere and have the kids watch it.

Mine always seemed to lose a tooth when I was broke! I can’t tell you how many times I had to tell my kids the tooth fairy was on vacation “until next week.”
