My beautiful, both inside and out, friend desperately needs a bone marrow transplant. She has a condition called Myelodysplastic Syndrom (MDS) and has been through hell and back. Now she waits for a match.
How can you help?
Well thank you for asking! You can help by visiting www.bethematch.org or call 1-800-marrow2 and register to be a donor should you be a match with them. How awesome would you feel if you knew that by doing something so simple as registering, you could help save someone’s life?!? There is nothing better in life than helping someone else.
So please, if you are reading this…click on the link above and register. Especially if you are of Asian decent since someone of Asian decent is Kari’s best chance at a match.
Kari and I went to high school together and back then, as well as now, she was (and is) loved by everyone she meets. She has a heart of gold and I remember laughing a lot every time she’s around. And while we lost connection after graduation, we ran into each other one day 6 years ago in Target and I could easily see that she is the same great person I knew years before, only now she has a gorgeous family of her own that loves her very much.
So please help her…give her the hope of finding a donor by registering. I thank you; her parents thank you; but most importantly, her children thank you.

Bless her heart. My dad has this and is currently undergoing chemo to see if it will help. This is such a cause that is dear to my heart. I want so bad to be a potential donor, but I’m ineligible for medical reasons. I pray she finds the right match for her soon. I’ll tweet this out for you. Bless you for being a voice for your friend.
