Ultimate Preschool April Fool’s Day Prank

Today I had (or well I guess it is yesterday now since it is after midnight) to work in my son’s preschool class. I also had to bring snack. I decided to prank the kids with their snack. There are a lot of great April Fool’s day snack ideas online. One of them was to take pound cake, put it in a toaster oven for a few minutes and then spread frosting tinted an yellow-orange color so that it look likes grilled cheese. I thought that was neat, but not a prank exactly.

Finally I found my prank. I decided to bring cereal and milk. However, it wasn’t your normal bowl of cereal with white milk…the milk changed from white to blue, green, pink, or purple! What I did was, I put two drops of food coloring into a bowl, then added cereal and then added milk. When the kids put their spoon into the bowl to eat, the milk magically turned from white to whatever color food coloring was in the bowl!

They truly did not get it! It was excellent! The looks on their faces was priceless! I think I am going to periodically going to do this to my kids for breakfast!!

Oh and by the way, I was debating about running a contest today for some elaborate prize as an April fools joke but figured that would be cruel since I have no elaborate prize to give:)

Now that is a neat prank! I know the kids really had fun with that. Must file that away to use sometime.

That is such a cute idea. I think I’m going to nail my husband with that one this weekend.
