When you hear the words “soccer mom” what comes to mind? For me it’s mini van, sitting on the sidelines cheering, while sitting in one of those green chairs that fold up to the size of a large umbrella, while sipping coffee–Starbucks, Caribou, or whatever kind you like. Pretty stereotypical, huh?
Well let me tell you, the woman who was nominated for Soccer Mom of the Year, Sally Freed, is not your stereotypical soccer mom. She puts her entire heart and soul into everything that she does. I know this, not only by the pictures I have seen of her at soccer games or the stories that I have heard, but because she is my sons teacher and I have seen firsthand how much heart this woman has.
How many soccer moms do you know paint their faces like this for games:
And I am willing to bet that Sally Freed would be more than willing to paint your face as well. Just ask!
Her van is ALWAYS painted, ready to let anyone and everyone on the road know that she has team spirit!
Sally Freed deserves the title of Soccer Mom of the Year. Please help her win this title. Head here, click on “mom of the year” and vote for Sally Freed! And please, if you have any friends that would love to see a woman with this much heart win…by all means, send them the link!
Thanks so much!
It would be really cool if you blogged about this post asking others to vote for her as well. Sally deserves this award. Go ahead and sign Mr. Linky below with the link to your post about the soccer mom of the year contest! Thanks!!
