When my kids get sick or I hear all the yucky stuff going around, I immediately start to freak out that we’re going to all get sick in my house. Being a mom, I can’t afford to get sick. I have a poor immune system as it is, so if I don’t keep up on cleaning the door knobs and all the bed linens (among a bunch of other things in the house), it just seems like we keep passing the nasty stuff back and forth.
Using an air sanitizer is a must when someone is sick in my house. Shoot when my husband was working, he used to bring all kinds of crud home…and don’t even get me started on the junk my kids bring home from school. If they would let me, I swear I would spray them down from head to toe with air sanitizing products as soon as they walk in the door…but I see my husband getting really mad at me if I did that. My kids…they’d probably like it knowing them!
But on a serious note, so many people are against getting the flu shot (I’m one of them…I know “they” say that you don’t get sicker when you get the flu shot, but every time I have…I get horribly sick that upcoming winter), but when there are products out there that can help fight a lot of the airborne viruses like H1N1, Avian flu A, or mold, staph, etc why wouldn’t you want to use them to help? I remember a school district near me last year that closed down for an entire week because of H1N1…wouldn’t it have been great if they had some of these air sanitizers in place and were able to keep the school open?
What do you do in your home to help fight cold and flu season? Also, because I’m curious, do you or anyone in your family, get the flu shot? Why or why not?
