I will fully admit, I am not a fan of kid movies. I actually fall asleep during them when I take my kids. One of the theaters in the area has been airing $1.00 movies all summer long and last week it was Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax. I was fully planning on taking my cat nap, but I absolutely loved The Lorax! Not only was it super colorful, but the story was cute and kept you engaged! But that doesn’t surprise me. The Lorax is from the creators of Despicable Me and I really enjoyed that movie too!
The imaginative world of Dr. Seuss comes to life like never before in this visually spectacular adventure from the creators of Despicable Me! Twelve-year-old Ted will do anything to find a real live Truffula Tree in order to impress the girl of his dreams. As he embarks on his journey, Ted discovers the incredible story of the Lorax, a grumpy but charming creature who speaks for the trees. Featuring the voice talents of Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Rob Riggle, Jenny Slate and Betty White, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax is filled with hilarious fun for everyone!
Both the Blu-Ray 3D Combo Pack and the Blu-Ray Combo Pack is full of bonus features including games, sing-a-longs, how to draw Seuss characters and much more! The movie is set to hit stores this week on August 7, 2012! I have a feeling this one is going to sell out fast! We have plans to have a family movie night this weekend to watch The Lorax and eat popcorn.
Did you see The Lorax? Did you like it?
