About NX Nutrition Exercise
I was approached to put a team together that would compete against other teams by earning points on NX Fit. You get points for eating right, completing exercises, achieving your goals, etc. I like to win, so having the opportunity to earn points is great. I’ve very competitive, but the nice thing about the NX Fit website is that you don’t have to be in a team to be successful. The points system allows you to be competitive with yourself. I always want to earn more points than I did the day or week before.
How Much Is It
There is a monthly fee to use the site. It’s pretty inline with what a gym membership would cost. To have both the nutritional and exercise components, the cost is $27 per month. To have just the exercise components, the cost is $17 a month. When you originally sign-up, the first week is FREE!
So for the past few weeks, I’ve been using the site. The work-outs are well put together. I am sore, sore, SORE afterwards (which I love! It means I’m working hard). Unfortunately I haven’t been able to use the work-outs the past few days because I’ve been sick. I just know I’m going to pay for it when I get back to it! Here are a few pros and cons I’ve found with this type of workout program:
Pro’s:
- You can do this workout in the comfort of your own home
- You don’t need a lot of space to do the workout
- Matt will text or email you every day to motivate you
- Ability to have a personal trainer without having to actually see one face to face
Con’s:
- There is not a lot of excitement to Matt’s voice when he is doing the NX Nutrition exercise.
- Some of the links on the site don’t always work, but if you email him he’s on top of getting it fixed
- My husband (who is on my team), had a hard time streaming the videos from his hotel room, which made it impossible for him to workout
All in all, I think NX Nutrition Exercise is a great idea. I would love to have a personal trainer, but meeting them face to face is a little intimidating to me…well unless the trainer is Bob Harper…I’ll meet him anywhere! No, seriously though, it’s intimidating to me so to be able to have a trainer that emails and text messages me is ideal for me. What is not ideal for me is working out at home. I do much better when I leave my home and go to the gym. But that is just me. I know there are many people that truly do well by working out in the comfort of their own home. And for you…I have a giveaway! FIVE lucky readers will win a subscription to the NX Fit website!
