My kids are seven and nine, but boy or boy do I remember their tantrums. My son was three years old (which is WAY worse than the “terrible two’s”) and we were in Target and he threw the mother of all tantrums…because I put things I was buying in the cart. I remember calling my husband to tell him about the latest tantrum over something ridiculous. We had a good laugh about it. You have to laugh or you’ll go crazy!
Greg Pembroke, decided to work from home to days a week with his two sons under two years old. Shortly after staying home, he realized that kids will cry about anything and everything. So he started a Tumblr blog, Reasons my Son is Crying. If you haven’t checked this blog out, you need to. It’s hilarious!

When I was asked if I would like to review a copy of Greg Pembroke’s new book, Reasons My Kid Is Crying, I knew I had to say yes. This stuff really makes me laugh. Especially when it is so ridiculous like, “my kid is crying because a raindrop hit him”. As I went through the book, I saw kids crying for all kinds of reasons. Things like not wanting their face wiped, getting splashed in the pool, to my favorite reason…his train derailed!
I think each and every parent out there can relate to this book. My other favorite one shows a little girl in front of a birthday cake and her brother next to her crying because they would not let him touch the fire! This book goes on sale April 1, 2014! I plan on adding Reasons My Kid is Crying to each baby shower gift I give!
