About two weeks ago, Bella ran the first annual “Fun Run” at her school. It started out that each lap would be a 1/2 mile, however because we had so much rain, each lap became 1/4 mile. The kids brought home a pledge form where they could ask family members and friends to either pledge money per lap finished or they could give a flat donation. Everyone Bella asked pledged a flat donation and she raised $125!! I was sent an iBitz Adult and Child PowerKey Wireless Activity Monitor and I thought the best way to try it out would be to put it on Bella during the fun run!

My Thoughts
I really like this pedometer! One of my favorite features is that it takes a Lithium Battery…I don’t have to remember to charge it! HUGE plus for me! I’m really bad at remembering to charge something, unless it’s my iphone. I begin to twitch when it gets to 20% battery! Bella liked it too! She was excited to see that she took 80 steps at one point. Unfortunately my phone died before we could sync it after the Fun Run (yes…lots of twitching from me), but she ran nine laps in 45 minutes. I’m sure that was A LOT of steps!

My kids would love this! But of course they would compete with each other 🙂
