Mother’s Day with MetLife

Mother’s day is coming up and MetLife is encouraging you to show how much you love your mom by creating a #Moem! I know, I know…you want to know what a #MOEM is. Well, I’ll tell you! A #MOEM is a short little poem that is intended to be shared on social media (Twitter and Facebook). Now I am probably the least poetic person out there, but that’s OK! MetLife makes it super easy for you with their MOEM Maker!

It’s super easy and the kids had a blast. We actually went through the drop down menu to see what we could do with the other starting sentences, but they liked that they could use the word “hooray”! And guess what, besides having fun with the #MOEM maker, MetLife will be donating $10 for every #MOEM created to Dress for Success! This is an excellent organization that helps low-income families by supporting their search for employment!

This was a fun activity to do with the kids today and I really like that, as a result of our little poem, we are helping another family out!! So give it a try! Head on over and use the MOEM Maker, but don’t forget to tag it with #MOEM when you share it on your social media sites!
