This is my favorite time of year. Not only do I love all the family time together and the super good food (Mmm turkey!), but I also love shopping for Christmas gifts! Which also means I like going out on Black Friday and saving as much money as I can. My kids are to that age now where they are wanting things that are more expensive…so if I can save money, I will! Now I’ve talked before about how my husband is one of the hardest people to shop for. He likes watches, which usually means I get him a watch for a gift. Because of the type of job my husband has, it’s not abnormal for him to have two laptops, an iPad, 2 cell phones and a slew of cables for each device on him at any moment. Right now I have two sick kids home from school (pray for me, please!) and we are testing out the Portable JBL Flip 2 Speaker. I can’t express enough how great the sound quality is. Especially when listening to the 90’s channel on Pandora. Nothing like belting out those oldies, but goodies with your kids. They are quite fond of One Week by the Barenaked Ladies and Only Wanna Be With You by Hootie and the Blowfish!
