Do you ever see something on TV or at the store and think, “Oh my gosh, why didn’t I invent that?” As a parent, I can’t tell you how many times I have thought that something would make a great invention, but never acted on it. Of course, I then see someone else acted on the great inventions ideas and is now a millionaire. For instance, when I was in high school, I started mixing Ranch and Ketchup together to dip my fries and chicken fingers in. I told everyone I was going to get it bottled and call it Ranch-up. Guess who has that product now…Red Gold. No joke.

Here are some good inventions I came across that I think are genius!
Are you a new parent? Know someone that is having a baby soon? You have to get them this Baby Bum Brush Diaper Cream Applicator. My daughter, when she was an infant, had the WORST diaper rashes ever. We went through tubes and tubes of diaper rash cream with that child. While diaper cream is relatively easy to apply, there is nothing more annoying or frustrating than getting that diaper cream stuck under your fingernails. How great would be be to use the Baby Bum Brush Diaper Cream Applicator and then quickly wash it when you wash your hands after changing the diaper?!? Easy peasy!
Aren’t these great inventions?!? So simple, yet they make so much sense! Especially the cereal bowl with a straw. I was a kid that did NOT like to drink milk, however, you put a straw on the bowl and tell me I can get up from the table once my bowl was empty, I’d totally suck down that milk without a second thought! If you have ideas for good inventions, do something about it! Look at all the famous inventions we have…had they thought about it, but not did nothing about it, we would be without some pretty amazing things that we take for granted every single day.

I wish that I had invented sock locks. The ones that I have are a ribbon with a loop and velcro. They keep babies from pulling their socks off.
