Bookaboo – An Amazon Original Series

When my kids were younger, I remember really struggling to find TV shows that I felt were appropriate for them and that didn’t make me want to shove pointy objects in my ears. My daughter, at two years old, became obsessed with Caillou. I’m telling you, I’ve never disliked a fictional character as much as I disliked Caillou. However, she was absolutely taken by him, so much so that my sister in-law found a stuffed Caillou in a store in Canada and brought it home for her. I thought maybe just getting to sleep with that stuffed toy would be enough, but no…she had to watch the show AND hold Caillou at the same time. The lovely people at Amazon has heard our cries for appropriate children shows and has announced a brand new Amazon Original Kids Series, Bookaboo that is set to premier this Friday, October 28, 2016, on Prime Video in the US and UK!

Today I made a special visit to my little 2 year old friends house to share Bookaboo with her. While watching Bookaboo, she had a blast playing with some fun musical toys I brought over for her. I’m not sure dad will be all that pleased with the all that musical wonderfulness he will be walking into after a long day at work, but this little girl had a blast!

The entire first season will be available, at no additional cost, to Prime Members this Friday, October 28, 2016.
