If you have tweens and teens, then you are more than familiar with the bottle flip craze that has been sweeping the nation. My kids will flip anything. In fact, this morning, my son flipped the gallon of milk. No joke. Thankfully it did not break. Can you imagine that mess?!? I have to admit, I do yell “stop flipping things” quite often. However, when I was asked to review the Bottle Flip board game, I knew I had to!

Bottle Flip Board Game
I will admit, I almost said no to reviewing this game. Bottle flipping is VERY annoying to me. BUT, after playing this game, I realized why it bothers me so much. It’s not the actual bottle flip action, as much as it is the sound of the water bottles we have. That crinkle sound is what drives me crazy! With this game, there is zero crinkle sound! So it’s all good!
How to Play
Playing the game is really simple. Each player chooses their own bottle cap piece in the color of their choice. Then players draw a card to see what their “challenge” is. First player to make it to the top, wins! It’s really that simple…or is it?!? Being the overly competitive family that we are, this is a great game for us. It says it is recommended for ages 13+, but my 10 year old daughter did just fine!
If you like board games, you will definitely want to add this to your collection! We always give the kids a board game on Christmas Eve with their brand new pair of pajamas. Since we are close to Easter, this would be a great game to pick up for the kids (and you too…let’s be honest)!

I had no idea there was an actual bottle flipping board game! My kids try and flip water bottles around the house all the time and I thought it was just something kids at their school had started.

That crinkle sound drives me batty too. I know my son would love this game though, and even if it crinkled, which thankfully it doesn’t, I’d get it. 😉

The bottle flip has sure taking a life of it’s own. My kids would love this game! Would be a great idea for the easter baskets.

I was wondering how long it would take for a company to make an actual game out of this. My boys have been flipping bottles for about 6 months now.

What a neat game. I can see how this would be entertaining for the whole family. It’s neat that they came up with a bottle flipping board game as I have seen these Bottle Flipping YouTube videos getting popular!
