Thanksgiving is my absolute most favorite holiday. Most importantly, is zero gift expectation, so that leaves the holiday to be all about food, friends, and family! This year we are hosting Thanksgiving (check out my hosting tips) and, if I am being honest, I very much enjoy hosting. Figuring out what to make is always difficult. I want to make it out! But don’t worry…I have your back. I compiled some of the BEST Thanksgiving side dishes. Let me know if you make one!

Best Thanksgiving Side Dishes
I make the same two main entrees when I host Thanksgiving…turkey (of course) and ham. My daughter asks me to make that ham recipe ALL the time. It’s really good and super easy. Because, lets face it, we expect things like turkey and even ham at Thanksgiving, but the best part of the holiday meal are the side dishes. Am I right, or am I right?!

You Gotta Have the Stuffing!
While my daughter lives for ham at Thanksgiving, similarly my son likes stuffing and pie. I get off easy because he only likes the boxed stuffing, but one of these days I will introduce him to one of these amazing stuffing recipes that doesn’t come from a box!

Don’t they sound good? I am totally intrigued by the pepperoni stuffing. If you ask me, pepperoni makes everything better!
Potatoes, Potatoes and more Potatoes
Of course you need stuffing at Thanksgiving. That’s a given. But not only do you need stuffing, but you also need some sort of potato dish (or more than one, I won’t judge). These are some delicious potato side dishes that would surely please your holiday guests!

Make Room for the Veggies
The kids may not be a fan of the veggies on the table, but it’s one of my Thanksgiving side dishes. I still haven’t figured out what vegetables I will be making this year. Maybe one of these great dishes!
Fall Wedge Salad with Romaine and Butternut Squash
Weight Watchers Green Bean Casserole
My sister in-law brought the turkey veggie tray a couple years ago and it was super cute! I highly recommend everyone putting it together. It is definitely a crowd pleaser.
No Meal is Complete without Bread
No Thanksgiving meal is complete without some sort of bread. Normally I buy those brown and server rolls. This year my daughter talked me into getting Hawaiian rolls. If you want to make your own bread (which is something I love doing), this recipe for homemade cloverleaf rolls is definitely the recipe for you!
So…what did you think of these Thanksgiving side dishes? Is there a particular dish I just have to make? Let me know if the comments. My menu is still not complete for this year yet. Whatever you choose to make, I’m sure it will be great! Happy Thanksgiving!
