One of my favorite holiday traditions is that we get the kids a new board game on Christmas Eve. We get take-out, play board games, and watch a Christmas movie. Usually Elf. It’s my favorite! Pretty much every family get together involves a game of some sort. When I was asked to review a couple board games, I jumped at the chance! If you are like me and you like to play games with friends and family, then you need to check out the list of the best board games below! Pick up a few for the holidays! I promise, there is something for people of all ages to enjoy!

Taco vs Burrito Card Game
I absolutely love this game. It was created by a 7 year old boy (now 10 years old) named Alex Butler. Since this game is created by a 7 year old, it is for ages 7+, but I am pretty sure younger kids can catch on too! Alex Butler spent months thinking up ideas for this game before he launched a Kickstarter, raising $24,000! The game became available on Amazon, became the #1 bestselling card game, and won multiple awards! Basically, you try to make a taco or burrito meal (you choose which one you want to be) with the most points. But beware that pesky Health Inspector. He ruins it all! Pick up the Taco vs Burrito (and the expansion pack) on Amazon right now! But do it quickly while the combo is on sale!
Bold Made
Alex Butler is at it again! He, along with his mom Leslie Pierson, created Bold Made, a 21st century take on the classic Old Maid card game. Leslie could not stand the thought of her son playing an outdated, sexist game like Old Maid. Being the entrepreneur that his is, Alex challenged his mom to come up with a better version. Together they came up with Bold Made where notable women in history are celebrated and the object of the game is to end up with the Bold Made at the end! In Bold Made, you will see faces like Amelia Earhart, Maya Angelou, Madam C.J. Walker, and so many more amazing women. This is definitely a game that everyone should be playing! Not only is it fun, but you are learning something too! Pick up your copy of Bold Made today!
