Both of my kids are in elementary school now (yay!) and one of the things I like about their school is that they don’t do your typical fundraisers. You know, the annoying Entertainment Books that look great and like they are super useful, but when you actually look at one, you realize you just spend $25 on something filled with coupons that are miles and miles and miles from your house. And don’t even get me started on the wrapping paper fundraisers. Those are beyond annoying to me.
So what does the school do to raise money? They have movie night once a month, special events at the school, and they collect Box Tops for Education. If you aren’t familiar with Box Tops for Education, they’re on a lot of the foods, binders and other items that you are probably purchasing. You simply cut it out and send it in. When the school gets a large amount they send them in ad get money for each Box Top they turn in. It’s super easy! And now ALL Betty Crocker baking mixes contain Box Tops…even their new Fun-da-Middles (which, if you haven’t tried them yet…Mmm so good!).
