This post brought to you by Quaker Oats. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you’re anything like me, then you are always on the lookout for great food to help start your day or give you that little boost you need to keep going.  I’m not much of breakfast food person.  Quite honestly, it’s my last favorite meal of the day.  However, the new Quaker Soft Baked Bars can be a quick breakfast snack.

This wholesome food comes in two delicious flavors:

  • Cinnamon Pecan Bread
  • Banana Nut Bread

and the taste isn’t the only nice thing about it!  Each bar contains:

  • 140 calories
  • 5g of fiber
  • 6g of protein
  • Excellent source of 5 B-Vitamins

I can’t wait to try the banana nut bread flavor.  I am drooling just thinking about it!  The nice thing about a snack like this is I can buy a box or two and give it to my husband to keep with him.  He travels a lot for work and when you’re driving a lot you usually need something to nibble on.  These bars are not only convenient, but they are a lot healthier than some of the things he snacks on in the car!

Which Quaker Soft Baked Bars flavor are you hoping to try?

Banana Nut Bread

Or

Cinnamon Pecan Bread?

With kids that are constantly on the run from one practice to the next, these bars are perfect to throw in my daughters soccer bag. She gets that quick snack she needs and they taste great too! If I told her to eat an oatmeal bar, she would turn her nose up. However, when I say, “hey…do you want a banana nut bread bar?” her opinion changes! It’s all about how we present food to kids. Am I right? At any rate, pick up these delicious bars at your local grocery store!

The banana nut bread flavor sounds good to me! I’ll have to look for these in the store and try them out.
