When I was little I absolutely loved The Berenstain Bears. I have very vivid memories of watching the t.v. show before school and on Saturday mornings! My daughter shares my love for The Berenstain Bears as well! It’s funny, but she was watching the show not too long ago and I totally remembered the episode. It was the one where Brother Bear and Sister Bear were constantly asking for things every time they went somewhere. I don’t know about you, but I can totally relate to that episode with my own two!

The Berenstain Bears: Golden Sister Edition
Sister Bear is a spirited, spunky third-grader. Outdoorsy and sports-minded she also loves fairy-tales, writing and jump rope.
Bella enjoyed this DVD. I think she can relate to Sister Bear. Like Sister Bear, Bella enjoys being outside playing sports, she loves fairy-tales (especially anything involving the Little Mermaid) and she is always writing books! (jumping rope is not something she has mastered just yet!)
The Berenstain Bears: Golden Brother Edition
Brother Bear loves sports of all kinds, especially soccer. He often acts as protector and stands up for the smaller cubs at school.
If you asked Bella what she likes most about Brother Bear, she would tell you “he plays soccer”. But being her mom, I can tell you that Bella is very much like Brother Bear. Bella is very protective over people she cares about and she stands up for people if she thinks they are being treated unfairly. I find that to be a very admirable trait!
If you are unfamiliar with The Berenstain Bears (which I don’t see how anyone can be!), here’s a little more information about them:

Fun! I had a set of Berenstain Bears figures when I was a kid, I would have liked these too!
