asA few months ago, I was given the opportunity to review Lucy Adam’s brand new book, If Mama Don’t Laugh, It Ain’t Funny. Well today it is my turn to host Lucy Adam’s here at Diaries of a Domestic Goddess on her blog tour for her book. I couldn’t be happier.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It reminds me of the Chicken Soup for the soul books only a lot more fun to read (no offense Chicken Soup for the Soul people). By fun I mean, it is easy to relate to this book. Her stories are written in such a way that you feel like you are right there watching it unfold. For example, one of my favorite stories in this book is the one about her son digging up his dead hermit crab. I laughed so hard when I read it. Especially when she told her son to ask his father to help him get the decaying body out of the shell. That is totally something I would have done and her husbands response of feeling set up was hilarious and so true!

The author, Lucy Adams, is a mother of four who writes a popular blog and teaches second grade. With four children, it is no wonder she has so many stories to tell. You can read more about Lucy Adams here.

If you would like to purchase her book, head on over to Amazon.com where the book retails for $13.45. Right now Amazon is offering FREE 2-day shipping so you can receive this book in time for Mothers Day!!

I really hope you decide to get this book. It is one that you could read over and over again and never tire of the stories. They truly are something that everyone can relate to. They show us that there is a lot to laugh about in life.

Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
