Random Funnies for the Week

Yesterday Zachary had his 5 year well check-up with a new doctor. In the past he has always LOVED the exam tables because he liked the crinkle paper–his name for the tissue paper that they put down to show that the bed is clean. Well this year he discovered the stirrups that are attached to the bed. Before I knew it, he had those things opened up and he was laying on the bed, as close to the bottom as possible with his feet in the stirrups. As the doctor walked in to my spread eagle child, Zachary says “this is SO comfortable mommy”! If he only knew…

My daughter definitely beats to the tune of her own drummer (is that the saying???). Wears what she wants, whether it matches or not, says what she wants, talks to whomever she wants…and so on. Today she woke up and decided to dress herself. Here is what she was wearing:

• Dora nightgown
• Cowboy boots
• Thomas the Train backpack

While wearing all that, she was prancing around the backyard blowing bubbles. Definitely cute and totally photo worthy if I had remembered to charge my battery. Doh!
