My daughter was absolutely ecstatic to get this DVD in the mail to help review it. She loves watching the show on television and when Target got the Ni Hao, Kai-lan toys, I think all of Target heard her squeal!!
The DVD we received was Ni Hao, Kai-lan: Kai-lan’s Great Trip to China. This show introduced Mandarin Chinese in a fun way for kids to understand and learn basic words. It reminded me of how Dora uses certain Spanish words throughout her show. I have to admit, even I liked it and I am NOT a cartoon person. I think the first day we had it, my daughter watched it over and over again at least 3 times, if not more. So I would definitely say this was a hit in our house.

My kids love Ni-Hao Kai-lan. I think my favorite cartoon from the old days is Scooby Doo. These days I actually really like to watch Backyardigans or Phineas & Ferb with my kids.
