Disclosure: “I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central for Nutri-Grain®. I received product samples and promotional item to thank me for participating.

What are mornings like in your house? In mine…they are CRAZY! I have one kid who likes to try and sleep until the very last second and I have another who complains because the other one is sleeping and she is not. Drives me nuts. So, as you can imagine, on the days that they are especially uncooperative, I need something quick and easy for them to eat before they head out to the bus. I prefer it to be somewhat healthy (though…on occasion, they have eaten a honey bun for breakfast. Shh…don’t tell their teachers). On those crazy mornings, I opt for Nutri-Grain® bars and either a piece of fruit or some yogurt.

Eating a good breakfast is important to me. Since my kids literally spend more time at school than they do at home during the week, I like to make sure they start their day with a wholesome breakfast. There is a new Nutri-Grain bar on the market, and I have to say, it is the best cereal bar I’ve ever had. And that is not an exaggeration AT ALL! Try it, I know you will be saying the same thing!

Each Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest cereal bar contains 4 grams of protein and a hearty combination of real fruit and whole grains. Right now they come in Country Strawberry and Blueberry Bliss. We haven’t opened the Blueberry Bliss yet, but I think we devoured the box of Country Strawberry in a matter of two days!

Country Strawberry...doesn't it look delicious?!?

Country Strawberry…doesn’t it look delicious?!?

To be completely honest, I didn’t think either kid would touch these cereal bars with a ten foot pole. They look WAY too healthy! Bella was the first to try it and I think you can see by the smile on her face, how much she enjoyed this:

Zack enjoyed the cereal bar just as much as Bella. In fact, the kids were fighting over who would get the last one. My answer…neither! I ate it!

The Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest cereal bars are available at most retailers nationwide. They are sold in boxes of five and run for about $3.59 per box. You can learn more about the Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest cereal bars by visiting their Facebook page.

We haven’t tried the Oat Harvest, yet, but my son eats a Nutri-Grain bar every single day. I bet he’d love these!

NutriGrain bars have been our favorites for years. They’re so good, the kids have no idea how healthy they are. 🙂

The problem I have with buying these types of bars for the kids is that inevitably, I eat them all before they have a chance to. They are delicious!

My kids love Nutri-grain bars so I’m sure they would love these bars! They are affordable to thank goodness because my kids would eat an entire box between the four of them in one morning.

I have one child who doesn’t get up in the morning either. He’ll sleep until the last minute and then rush right out the door.
