I’m always looking for good music to listen to. I tend to listen to the same things over and over again. If it so happens to not be a children CD, it’s a good day. When I was asked to review a new CD by a group called 4TROOPS, a group comprised of 4 US combats who fought on the front lines in Iraq and Afghanistan, I was totally up for it. Not only did their track list sound like a good one, but the organizations they are helping is even better.

The most important aspect of the 4Troops is to give back to US organizations that support our US soldiers and veterans. Sony Music has agreed to donate 50 cents from each album purchased to be split up between The American Legion, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, and USO. The album contains both well known pop and country songs, as well as, some new songs. The track list is:
- Bless the Broken Road
- For Freedom
- Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue (2010)
- I’m Already There
- Dance with my Father
- Angel
- Galveston
- You Raise Me Up
- You’ll Never Walk Alone
- Medley (Battle Hymn of the Republic, You’re a Grand Old Flag, America the Beautiful)
- Here We’ve Been
- Raise Your Glasses
