It’s the end of the school year and the kids are just as antsy about being done with school as I am with making school lunches. There are some mornings that my daughter leaves and I feel like I’ve been up for hours and ran a marathon, as opposed to just getting the kids up, making lunches and getting them off to school. Please tell me you all have had mornings like that! On mornings like that, all I need is something to relax me and Live! with Kelly (makes me so sad that Michael Strahan is no longer on the show). My new drink of choice are the TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® Pods for my Keurig®.
The other day, shortly after my daughter left for school, a package arrived on my front porch. Now…I don’t know about you, but I absolutely LOVE getting packages in the mail! Especially packages that I have no idea what is in them and that look as pretty as the one above! Like a kid on Christmas morning, I ripped open the box to find the cutest little TAZO® Chai Latte gift set! It had:
- 2 TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® Pods
- 2 TAZO® Chai Latte Flavoring Packets
- TAZO® Branded Spoon
- TAZO® Glass Mug
- Recipe Cards developed by Padma Lakshmi
About TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® Pods
If you aren’t familiar with the new TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® Pods for the Keurig®, you will want to be! These new pods are made from milk, tea leaves and spices. This Chai Latte is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy with it’s creamy blend of black tea, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and vanilla flavoring. Not only does it taste delicious, but the scent is heavenly! I think my nose was in the mug the entire time it cooled down! There’s something about mixing both cinnamon and ginger together that just relaxes me every time!
As I mentioned above, TAZO® has partnered with Padma Lakshmi, New York Times Bestselling author and host, to help celebrate the release of the new K-Cup® pods. Padma Lakshmi was excited to partner with TAZO® because both tea and chai has always been a part of her life and family heritage. In her excitement, Padma Lakshmi had developed some very delicious recipes that pair perfectly with a cup of chai.
Making a cup of the TAZO® Chai Latte was super easy! The first thing you do is open your flavoring packet (I chose the vanilla flavor) and pour it into your mug. Next you want to take that mug to your Keurig® and make sure you set it for the 8 0z. setting. Put in your TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pod and let the Keurig® do it’s job!
Be careful, as always, when removing your mug because it will be very hot! Stir your chai latte and enjoy!!
I wish you could smell (and taste!!) how delicious this chai latte is! Find out where to buy the TAZO® K-Cup® pods at TAZO.com/wheretobuy.
