One of these days, there WILL be a cure for Cancer.  I am sure of it.  But until that day comes, great businesses like the New York Sports Club, ZICO, and Ice-Qube are sponsoring an event that hopes to raise more than $10,000 in donations to help the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer in Harlem, New York.  This center, since 2003, has provided treatment programs and advanced cancer screenings for uninsured or under-insured individuals.

On October 30th, 25 cyclists will take on the challenge of completing 4 consecutive spin classes that run 35 minutes each and 1 Pilates class at 4 separate New York Sports club fitness centers throughout Soho and Greenwich Village.  Rick-shaw bicycles will transport the 25 cyclists from location to location.

For the past 5 years, this same event has taken place on Long Island which has raised more than $60,000 in donations!

For more information on the event or how to make a donation, please contact Michael Sloyer at michael.sloyer@gmail.com

As a thank you for post this, I will be sent an Official Spin-a-thon gift bag.
