When I was in 10th grade, I very stupidly played bloody knuckles with my friend Brad. Being the type of girl that didn’t want to ever show weakness, especially when it came to the whole “girls can do exactly what guys do” thing, I continued to play despite how bad my right hand was hurting. Long story short, later down the road, my hand was still hurting…went to and had an x-ray done and I had a small fracture in my hand. Ever since then my hand has cramped up no matter what I was doing.

With a typical mouse, my hand and wrist are in one position the entire time I am using the mouse. Keep my hand wrapped around the mouse and in the same position like that always results in me having a severely cramped hand. Smartfish Technologies has a product that makes sitting at my computer working, pain free!
The ErgoMotion Laser Mouseis attached to a pivot base, allowing the mouse to move naturally with you. Here is a little about the ErgoMotion Laser Mouse:
- Prevents discomfort and stress by completely adapting to your natural hand and wrist position.
- 800 dpi Laser Precision which makes it responsive, precise, and smooth tracking
- 2.4 GHZ Wireless
- 4 -way scrolling
- 10 month battery life (2AA batteries, which are included)
- Ambidextrous design
When I initially took it out of the package and started using it, I wasn’t sure if I would like it. The pivoting from side to side and front to back took me a little bit to get used to it. But once I used it for a bit, I realized how much better my hand was feeling. I was no longer signing off the computer at night so I could sit and rub my hand a bit before going to bed.
My favorite thing about this mouse is that a portion of the proceeds from each sale of this mouse is donated to the Hospital for Special Surgery Rehabilitation Education fund! You can purchase this mouse for around $49.99 on Amazon.comor just win it here! Read on for details!

this mouse does look weird… but so did every other product that has come out that is 'better for the way your body moves'… This mouse would be great for anyone… but those with medical conditions will especially benefit.

I love that it actually learns and adapts to your natural range of motion, while I know you are not allowed to make certain claims, this has to be able to prevent carpal tunnel. I only wished I invented it myself! 😉
