Dream Day True Love is the seventh installment to the already very successful Dream Day series. One thing game designer, Cara Ely knows is that video games have always been inspired by books, T.V. shows, movies, and even celebrities. So while developing this edition of the Dream Day series, Cara Ely decided to mimic this game off of a real life love story…her grandparents Bill and Helen.
So what do players have to do? They have to plan the ultimate 70th anniversary party, all while experiencing a great love story that takes them from the war in the Pacific to Paris in the 1950’s. Here is a little information about Helen and Bill’s love story:
The couple met while Bill was on military leave in San Francisco and were engaged less than two weeks later. Though the courtship was brief, their love survived two years apart during WWII and they have been inseparable ever since!
And my favorite part of the game, the players use a vintage scrapbook to learn about Helen and Bill’s love story!
