This is a family favorite recipe. Even the kids eat it. And let me tell you, when the kids were younger, finding something they would eat was considered a win. Now that they are older it’s still a win, but what makes it a double win is if I can throw it in the slow cooker and forget about it until dinner time! This salsa pork recipe fits the bill. I make it at least 2 times in a month and serve it over rice or you can shred it and put it in soft taco shells. That’s the kids favorite way to eat it.

Salsa Pork Slow Cooker Recipe
I always make this recipe in my slow cooker. Most likely you can make it in the Instant Pot, as well. However, I don’t have one of those so I really couldn’t direct you on how to do it in that, but I’ve seen a lot of similar recipes (just different directions/times) in both the slow cooker and Instant Pot. To make this salsa pork recipe, all you need are the following ingredients.
-slow cooker
-Boneless pork chops
-Large jar of salsa (or 2 smaller jars…1 medium and 1 mild)
Plop everything in the slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hrs if frozen or 6 hours if thawed. Time also depends on how thick the pork chops are.
You can also make this recipe with chicken, however I think the pork tastes much better. I also like it best when I put the pork in frozen.
