So Who’s Thinking about Christmas?

I am! I can’t wait! I’ve never been one to care too much about the holiday’s, but now that I have the kids, I LOVE the holiday’s and making memories for my kids. Being the planner that I am, I am already planning what the kids are getting. We did get a puppy as an early family Christmas gift, but the kids will get some other things as well. Here is what I am thinking…

Bella:

– Kid Tough Digital Camera (she loves Zachary’s and Zachary loves Zachary’s so…)
– A puzzle that Bed Bath and Beyond is selling that is made with three blocks across and three blocks down…it is multiple puzzles in one.

Zachary:

– Table top pin ball machine

Cody (the dog):

– A doggy bed
– Misc. treats/toys to put in a stocking for him

What are your kids getting? Pretty soon I will be making a list for Dan of things that I would like that don’t cost a lot. He’s always looking for things to get me, but never knows what to get me. I don’t want him spending a lot since I would rather spend it on the kids (and dog).

I just spent an hour wandering target looking at all of the christmas decorations. That really got me in the mood, I think becasue it is cold out today too. My middle one has a list about a mile long and I have enough toys cluttering my house. They dont get anything unless we do some major weeding!!!!

We are only spending $100 per kids this year. We aren’t going to buy a lot for extended family, mostly homemade goodies.

For our 10 year son we are getting him a $30-$40 MP3 player. We’ll probably get him a PS2 game and a few older kid toys.

For the 2 little ones we got a baby video system with games for the m to share (on clearance from $40 to $15)

For our 2 yr old girl we’ve aleady gotten her a bowling set that looks like barnyard and moos, pack of my little ponies, 4 pack of Sesame Street books and a bike helmet. We still have quite a bit of the $100 left for more gifts. I would have loved to have gotten her a play kitchen (she loves to watch cooking shows and help me cook) but the decent ones start at $100. So, not this year.

For the little man (1) we haven’t gotten him any gifts yet because his bday is next week and we had to buy for that first. But I’m sure we will finds TONS to get for him.

My husband and I are not buying anything for each other (supposedly). LOL. We shall see if he sneaks a gift for me. I just know how he is.

Ethan is getting a DS. Abbie is getting a Dollhouse bookshelf from Target. Mason is getting Planet Heroes. I want new dishes, ours are chipped and look bad.
