When I typed that post about my holiday traditions, I left out quite a bit. So here it goes…the traditions I forgot about!
My husband and I ALWAYS buy each other an ornament. Even if we aren’t exchanging any other gifts that year, we always get an ornament that somehow either is significant for the year or significant about that person. The best ornament I ever got him was a Dilbert one. I can’t really go into detail on her as to why it is the greatest ornament ever, but let’s just say, we laugh EVERY time we see it.
Each year I buy the kids a pair of Christmas pjs and give them to them on Christmas Eve. They open them up and they wear them that night and on Christmas morning they wake up wearing their Christmas pjs to open presents!
I love it!!!
We do the pjs thing too. My gpa sends gc’s to Walmart every year and that is what I use them for. I love that all of their Christmas morning photos have a part of him in them. 🙂
