I am one of those crazy people who get up (or in my case, don’t go to bed) on Black Friday and stand in line to get good deals for Christmas. This year, for the first time, I went to Walmart. They had a lot of what we were getting the kids, on sale for 10 dollars as their door busters. Well that was just plain crazy as I almost (literally) got trampled. Thankfully I had a nice man standing close behind me that grabbed me before I fell. I wish I could have found him to thank him again, but as we all know, Walmart was a mad house. Shoot it’s crazy on a normal day. And the term “door busters” for Walmart is a joke. I bet their door busters lasted all day long with all the door busters they had.
Anyway, back to the awesome deal I got. After Walmart, I headed over to Target and got in line to walk in, which was very orderly. They had everyone walk in a single file line in the narrow doorway that carts go through. Not only do they have you walk into the store in an orderly fashion, they have their check out line done in such a way that they direct you to the fastest line which cuts down on the congestion at the front of the store. So as I am making my way around the store in line to pay for my cart of stuff, I see a display of $10 Shark Stick Vac’s. I picked one of and really debated about getting one. I really wondered how good it could possibly be if they were selling it for $10. But I put it in the cart and figured I could return in after the fact if I chose too.
Well I’ve used this vac so much since I bought it! It is the best $10 I have ever spent! Since getting our puppy, I’ve noticed that the area in front of the doorwall is always dusty and dirty because of him going in and out. I just pull out thislight vac (5lbs) and quickly sweep it up. The other nice part about it is the fact that it also doubles as a dust buster so I can very easily clean the crumbs off the counter, in the little grooves on my glass top stove, etc.
This little vac normally retails at Target for $19.99. Would I spend $20 on it? Probably not because I do have a perfectly good broom and dust pan. But for $10…like I said, best money I’ve ever spent!
