So in case some of you are not aware, last week I put myself ALL the way out there and put my weight on the internet for all to see. Why did I do that? Well it’s simple. I need to lose weight. My cholesterol is high, my blood sugar is high…so I thought maybe if I blogged about it each week, it would help me to stay more accountable as to sticking to this whole weight loss adventure.

It worked! I have awesome news to tell you…well I’ll show you. Today I stepped on the scale and saw these beautiful numbers:

That is a 6.4 lb loss for me!!!! I promise to have my toes painted a pretty color for next weeks weigh in…OK I promise to try and have them painted!

So my goal for last week was to up my water intake. I did better than I normally do, but I can still do better. So…my goal for this week is to again try to up my water intake a little more. I think if I would have drank more water, I would have seen more of a loss this week.

Thanks! I was so glad and so shocked to see this loss. I knew I was doing good on the food portion of the diet. My only exercise was chasing after the kids…which I hope to add in more exercise eventually but I think I’ve failed diets in the past because I get to eager and do everything at once and burn myself out.

so this time I will take it slow and just get the actual eating portion of the diet down before adding anything else.

That’s wonderful Leah! On the road to being healthier. Since last spring I’ve lost about 16lbs. I’ve just been watching what I eat and I also think that working part time has helped a bit as well b.c I’m not sitting all day long munching on food.

    Here’s to more success!
