What is wrong with my daughter?

My little girl who loves princesses, the color pink, baby dolls; everything girly with a car or two thrown in between…why is it that this girly girl enjoys playing with her poop? I know. It’s gross. She’s almost 2 1/2 and she is just now becoming fascinated with poop. And I’m not talking, she likes to talk about it, look at it, etc. She likes to play with it and by play with it, I mean rub it all over herself.

Thats just gross. Of course I asked her why she did it, and of course she gave me the standard 2 year old answer “what?” (and when she says what, she means why). I literally almost threw up in her face.

My friend Tirzah said it best “us moms do not get paid nearly enough”.

Blech

Oh good Lord! That is gross! My son used to play with his by rubbing it all over the walls and doors! YUCK!!! It drove me crazy! He didn’t like the feel of it in his diaper so he was trying to get it out. But he’s a boy so being gross is kind of expected. lol Don’t know about girls though…mine never did anything like that.

I’m sooo sorry…I gagged just reading that. And I thought it was bad when my daughter would dig her hand in her nucky diaper and show it to me. I would guess that’s a sign it’s time to introduce the potty.

Ugh I wish Cat. Thats what I thought as well (introducing the toilet) and she has *some* interest, but I don’t think she is there just yet.

We’ll see. But blech. So gross.

Thank God! I’m not alone! I thought for sure I was going to have to get some therapy for my daughter. Of course, now she is past playing with it, and has moved on to just pooping in her panties. There is a crown in heaven for us…I swear!
