Before you think I have been hitting the bottle a little too hard today while laying in the sun, my family celebrates Orthodox Easter and tomorrow is Easter for us! I cannot wait for the kids to wake up, find the eggs that were hid, and give them their Easter basket, which by the way was dirt cheap since I waited until everything was 75% off to buy their Easter basket stuff! Just one reason why Orthodox Easter totally rocks!
My daughter is not looking forward to the Easter bunny coming. In the words of my two year old “I don’t like that bunny”. However, after my dog ate her Dora the Explorer hat, Bella was heard saying “maybe that bunny bring me new hat”. Being the totally cool mom (Easter bunny) that I am, I found a rocking Dora hat at Walmart. Complete with a glitter bill and all! Maybe Bella will like “that bunny” after all.
Now Zachary…Zachary loves the Easter bunny. But then again, Zachary loves anything that brings him presents. Before going to bed tonight, he asked me if I could call that bunny up and tell HER (I smiled when he said that…automatically assumes the Easter bunny is a her which is probably accurate because only a woman would be able to accomplish all the Easter Bunny accomplishes in a night) that he would really like a transformer.
Well sorry Zack…this bunny did not get you a transformer. You did, however get an awesome Darth Vadar shirt!
Happy Easter to everyone that celebrates tomorrow!
