You had to know I was going to post about it. So what did you think of last nights show? They completely shot down my theory of this whole tabloid thing being just for ratings. I thought for sure they were OK and it was just a publicity stunt. But I obviously was proven wrong last night.

I have to say, I am back on Kate’s side. I felt HORRIBLE for her yesterday. I don’t think the best actress in the world could have played that scene better than Kate did. That was genuine hurt we saw on her face and genuine fear we saw on her face about doing it alone and living alone. The lack of emotion from Jon was disgusting. Yes Kate treated him like a child, but he is not innocent in this whole thing either. He allowed their relationship to be that way. He also appeared to have trouble (which he also said last night) communicating with Kate. And with a relationship like theirs, communication is paramount.

When Jon used the word “excited” to describe the next chapter in his life, I was thoroughly disgusted. Not only did he describe the next chapter as “exciting”, but he also let us all know that he is “only 32 years old”. It’s almost like Jon just gave up his family part time to get back some of his youth and that is disgusting. Now obviously we don’t know the “behind the scenes” information or whatnot, but for pete sakes, if I was that resort in Hawaii who gave them a free vacation to renew their vows to each other, I would be suing them for whatever it is that they could sue them for to get the money it would have cost to take that large family to Hawaii. I mean who the hell renews their 10 year marriage vows and then divorces not even a year later? They used TLC and that Hawaiian resort to get a free trip. But I’m sure if this were to ever become a public issues, Kate will be quick to point out that they didn’t renew there wedding vows, they renewed their vow to their children. Whatever.

I can see it now…next season, the show will be called:

“Jon + 8 vs. Kate + 8: Who’s the Better Single Parent”

We all know the kids will have more fun and probably get to use markers, when daddy lives at the house. But with Kate they will probably get to meet Angelina Joli and her brood…

It's so sad and I feel terrible for those kids. They should have just separated for a bit instead of calling it quits. Marriage counseling or something! Good gracious…they have *8* kids! Work it out for them! I wonder what next seasons show (if there is one) will be called! Maybe Kate Plus 8?!
